Bracknell based architects, Abracad, approached me to redesign their website. After an initial meeting it was clear that as well as creating a new, modern website, the branding also needed a new lick of paint.
We talked about trying to carry the heritage of the company forward, and didn’t want to move to far from the old branding, but needed to make it feel more contemporary and more in keeping with the kind of work Abracad do. After creating some concepts to choose from we had our new look.
Next up was the website. It needed to be responsive and showcase Abracad’s portfolio in a clean, uncluttered way. We decided the homepage would use a grid based gallery. A lot of their projects had great photography, so this is instantly seen when a potential client lands on the homepage. A contact form was also important as many of their enquires come from online.
